This is a review and detailed measurements of the KOSS Porta Pro on-ear headphones. It was kindly purchased and donated to the forum for review. It costs US $50. This is an ultra light headphone that folds into a very small package: You barely feel it on your ear and that is it. It is extremely comfortable for me. After 10 min of testing, I took the drivers off and retrofitted the KPH30i drivers on the P/21 headband, which was a pretty straight forward job. The headband in it self was worth it and I'm happy with the result. As for the P/21 drivers, I plan to put them in my MC helmet, so the purchase wasn't a mistake after all. raistlin65. Koss headphones. I'd like to try some Koss headphones other than the porta pro. I've heard great things of many of 'em but there is a limited selection available here in Finland. If a model that isn't available here gets enough recommendations I guess I'd be willing to order them from abroad and pay for the outrageous postage and possibly Yea I can see the bass getting on some people's nerves after a while, I picked the Porta Pro over the ksc75 due to looks and I got somewhat spooked by the FR charts seeing the relatively neutralish treble thinking that there would be harshness since so many cheaper small headphones/IEM's are plagued by treble nastiness, but after hearing these I wouldn't be surprised if it was also smooth SXkQQx. Treble is very natural and very detailed without being fatiguing. The soundstage is pretty average, not very wide. The Koss KSC75 are the best headphones under $100 in terms of sound quality. They even compete with headphones way above their price bracket and even beats a lot of them in terms of sound. plazman30. β€’ 2 yr. ago. My KPH40s arrived. I bought them from Koss.com and ordered the 2.5mm to Lightning adapter, which includes a 24/96 dongle DAC/headphone amp with inline controls. When you buy them together, the dongle DAC/amp is only $20.00. I genuinely love the KSC75 and sold all my other stuff for them and also have the Porta Pro and KPH30i. The KSC75's are incredible. The other two are very good. I thought I was an over-ear person. I was mistaken. Get the Yaxi Pads for sure for the Porta Pros. I got my KSC75's for $13 So I just purchased my Koss Porta Pro this afternoon around 12:30 in Singapore. It's my first time here, and after spending around 9 hours with it, I can say that it's an amazing piece of hardware. It's definitely a fantastic travel companion, especially when walking around busy streets, there are times I forget they're even on. And the sound.
