Koss has actually stuck both Porta-Pro and KSC75 drivers into other full-sized cans enclosures and sold them under different models. I only discovered this by looking at the driver after I found broken models of each. This was more common for them to do in the 80s and 90s, I don't think they are doing this any more. ^ KPH40 (pphb) = KPH40 driver / capsules / pads on a Porta Pro headband. Porta Pro = Drop version As you can see the measured difference is minimal. I had a pair of Koss portaPro's for about 2 years and 10 days ago the plug went bad on them. So I wrote a note about what was wrong with them and a check for 6.00 for return shipping and to ship them to Koss cost me 4.00. This is just the headphones with nothing else like the wrapper. Well today 10 days later I received a new Yes, mail them in with $10 and you get a new set. Best headphone warranty on the planet. Send them back to Koss with a check or money order for $10 and they’ll send you a new pair. I have done this 3 times over the years and they’re always good for it.
